Oil pressure sender
Grant MacLaren's
1972 Correct Craft Skier

MacSkier

The oil pressure (S-W "Low - 40 - 80 High") gauge was working when the boat was last in the water. But I'm thinking of replacing its sender with a new one. The first three photos were made when the sender on the '81 Century was being replaced. I think the Skier uses the same sender as the Resorter.

Here's the Skier's sender, complete with its rubber boot. It's made by Stewart-Warner and carries the number "80" on its base.

And here's the sender Macs's describes as being for a '72 Ford Mustang:

I've often wondered about the innards of an oil pressure sender:

"It needed a little work, but what boat doesn't?"
