"Power Panel"

For lack of a better term, I'll call it the boat's "power panel," containing:
1) a starter solenoid,
2) a voltage regulator
, and
3) a 40 amp. circuit breaker.

The metal bracket is an ugly thing. Have no idea what that hole on the port side is doing there.

Stainless is beautiful, but very difficult to cut and drill. So I went back to the original steel bracket, cut it with a hack saw, drilled and filed as needed.

Final version below. (12/11/13) Now thinking of replacing the alternator with a "one-wire" unit, thereby eliminating the need for the regulator mounted on the fwd. side of the panel.

Delivered "old" alternator to Broner Generator. "Guy" said he'd find me what I wanted, but I have not heard from him in many weeks. It's now 2/7/14.
