| Rough Grading -- 6/8/06 -- The rough grading lets us more easily see what the finished contours will be. The shovel failed while Terry and I were there just after noon. The operator made a cell phone call and within a few minutes Bill's mechanic, and his young son, showed up to diagnose the problem -- a broken hydraulic hose -- and repaired it.
The young man saw my camera and asked if I was taking pictures of everyone. "No," I said, "just the most important people." So he posed. |
